A few weeks ago Sonoma Syrup Co very generously sent me a couple of their products to use for my baking adventures. I had tried their lavender syrup at a show and immediately fell in love with it. Though I'm currently working on a delicious lavender cupcake recipe, I decided I absolutely needed to use this syrup for a tasty drink.
My love of coffee has grown ever since I moved to San Francisco, so I thought to myself, why not try infusing the lavender syrup in a coffee drink? Off I went to the farmers market to buy some fresh lavender flowers. (Mostly, so I could use it for my pictures).
1/2 cup Milk
1/2 cup Ice
2 tablespoons Lavender Syrup, or to taste
1/4 cup (or to taste) Cold brew coffee concentrate
I used Dave's Coffee Syrup which is roasted and brewed in small batches and absolutely delicious. Or brew your own coffee concentrate without the added sugar.
Few sprigs of lavender flowers
1. Pour all the ingredients into a vita-mix and blend until nice and frothy. Sprinkle the flowers on top and there you go! Enjoy cold & with a cupcake, or cookie ;)
